The President holds executive power, along with the assistance of two Vice Presidents. Legislature is the responsibility of the single-chamber House of Representatives, which has 104 members. 85 of them are elected by universal adult suffrage for terms of five years. The balance are regional leaders, known as Paramount Chiefs, and Presidential appointees.
